Katie Lopez highlights how a serious decreases in the amount of traffic across the Roma International Bridge, and other legal issues, has lead to a loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue generally granted to the city on a yearly basis. Officials suggest the decrease in traffic crossing the bridge is due to the seemingly endless violence reported along the U.S./Mexican Boarder. Potential side effects to the city's financial woes could range from property tax increases to a jump in the cost of utilities such as water and garbage. (
