Former Mayor Pro-Tem Ruben Saenz was sworn-in to the office of Precinct 4 Commissioner on Monday, September 26, 2011, taking the place of County Commissioner Abel Gonzalez Jr. who died unexpectedly earlier this month. He will serve out Gonzalez's term until the March 2012 elections.
