RGCCISD Board of Trustees recognizes Abram Guerra for his outstanding performance in Powerlifting. Abram Guerra a Junior attending Rio Grande City High School won the title of Texas High School Powerlifting Association Powerlifting Regional Champion 165lb.class on March 10, 2012 in Weslaco and the Texas THSPA High School State Champion Title of 165lb.Class on March 24, 2012 in Abilene.
