Chili’s and General Ricardo Sanchez Elementary fourth and fifth grade students joined efforts to raise funds for children fighting cancer at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. This competition promoted citizenship skills, but best of all enabled students to realize that they have the power to make a difference in another person's life even at a young age. We would like to thank all staff members, parents and students who made donations. The fourth grade winning class was Mrs. Enedina Figueroa’s class; the winning class in fifth grade was Mr. Elias Saenz’ class. The winning classes were rewarded with pepper-pal meals.
