Project Fresh Start is a project started by the United Way of south Texas to help students start the school year with basic school supplies. Volunteers gathered recently to prepare the packages that will be distributed to 900 9th grade students at the beginning of the school year. This project is possible by monthly monetary contributions of Starr County employees and Elected Officials as well as other participating entities and sponsors of the United Way.
