Google Tool Offers Perspective on Gulf Oil Spill

Google Earth, Google's mapping software, has created a tool that measures the current size of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and allows you to compare it to the size of your hometown. (You can compare it to your own city by clicking here.) The above image shows the size of the oil spill, about 25000 square miles, as of May 13, 2010.
