The Starr County Historical Society held their monthly meeting on Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Starr County Annex. The members are working diligently on a plan to acquire land to to build a museum. Starr County is situated in an area with enormous historical wealth and the museum will serve as an informational venue for future generations to learn about their ancestors and their traditions and much more.
