Rio Grande City CISD District Teachers of the Year were recently recognized by Region One Education Service Center in Edinburg, Texas. Pedro Omar Pena teaches at Ringgold Elementary and was selected as District Elementary Teacher of the Year. Enedelia Rios is a teacher at Grulla Middle School and was selected as the District Secondary Teacher of the Year. They were both invited to attend a banquet where they were presented with an award in recognition of their accomplishments.
